Sega Titles Will Soon Be Available Through Origin
Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai will be leading the charge and will be the first title to hit the platform.
EA has announced that Japanese publisher Sega will be making their PC titles available to buy through Origin, EA's digital store. Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai will be leading the charge and will be the first title to hit the platform, and is now available for pre-order. Craig Rechenmacher who is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Origin said, "By partnering with publishers like Sega, we're able to bring even more of the industry's best games to players on Origin. With eleven million registered users around the world, Origin is fast becoming the destination for consumers looking for fresh new content to play with their friends." But Sega weren't the only ones to join the Origin ranks. Team 17 Software Limited, the talent behind the ever popular Worms series have also signed up. So have Kalypso Media who have Sins Of A Solar Empire and Tropico 4 under their belts, and also Rebellion who are responsible for Aliens Vs Predator, Never Dead and the upcoming Sniper Elite V2. These company's games will be made available periodically over the coming months. This brings the number of publishers partnered with EA to 35. Seeing as this is how millions of gamers log on to play Battlefield 3 on the PC, it makes sense to get involved with a platform that is constantly gaining more and more momentum.
