9. Summoning Karstaag
If some tricky-to-find docks aren’t quite hidden enough for you, let’s cover off on a quest that is totally unmarked. And it’s got a frost giant ghost in it so that’s fun.
Journey to the Castle Karstaag Ruins north of Soulsteim and you’ll get a quest to retrieve Karstaag’s skull from the Glacial Cave. In the aforementioned ruins you’ll place the skull upon his throne, the ruins will rumble, and the ghostly Karstaag will appear and he’s not too stoked to be woken up. He’s a pretty damn tough foe to take on but if you’re able to defeat him you’ll gain the power Summon Karstaag which let’s you, well, Summon Karstaag. Fair warning, though, you’ll only be able to summon him three times before it’s no longer possible. I suppose he’s got frost giant ghost activities to attend to.
