Spider-Man PS4: 10 Major Worries Nobody Wants To Admit
1. Camera Control Not Being Fixed
Spider-Man's biggest villain isn't Venom or Green Goblin- it's the camera.
Almost every other Spider-Man game in existence has been made much worse by the fact that the in-game camera can never seem to keep up with the action. This is enough of an issue that it could end up severely impacting the game if it isn't worked through.
In Spider-Man games past, there is never really an issue when the player is outdoors swinging throughout the city. Most Spider-Man games have had that issue sorted for some time, but it's when the action decides to get closer that things go wrong.
The main problem comes from the fact that Spider-Man's powers either have him climbing up walls and ceilings, or darting from room to room. This movement is extremely hard to keep up with, and it's ended up crippling past games.
We've seen that Insomniac can definitely handle the outdoor sections of the game, but the times we've seen it go indoors it seems to struggle a bit more. We'll only be able to tell in the final release, but here's hoping they've found a way around the problem.
