STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC Release Date Is...

Bioware have finally announced a release date for Star Wars: The Old Republic, and we now know the game will be hit stores on Tuesday, 20th December 2011 in North America. Bioware also announced the European released date as December 22nd. In addition, Bioware spoke of the subscription fees for Star Wars: The Old Republic:

"By purchasing a copy of The Old Republic you'll get 30 days free, and afterwards need to pay $14.99 per month. As an alternative, you can pay $41.97 for a 3 month package, or $77.94 for a six month package. Those who pre-order the game will get early access to Bioware's MMO and be able to play before the December 20 launch date."
After three years of waiting, it seems we are finally going to be able to play one of the most anticipated MMOs of this generation. I can't wait to get my hands on the game and see what Bioware has done story wise. Does anyone out there have concerns that after all these years the game may not live up to the hype?
