10 Best Skyrim Mods That Make It The Perfect Game

1. Falskaar

Nexus Download This is the big one. It's also the most obvious, but it deserves a spot on this list nonetheless. Quite possibly the biggest and most well-known modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Falskaar is the one that landed Alexander J. Velicky a job at Bungie for his work. With enough content to be classified as an entire expansion pack - in fact, it could be argued that it's even better than the official DLC - there's no reason not to download Falskaar, unless you have some predisposed hatred for fun. Perhaps what makes Falskaar so great isn't the size of its content, but rather the unique handcrafted quality the mod author worked so hard to attain. Falskaar fits into the game world so well that it may as well be declared canon. Not based on any assets outside of the vanilla game, Falskaar takes everything the original did and does it better, with great dialogue, lore, plot, and a one of a kind new land to explore. If you haven't already, please play Falskaar.

Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
