8 Most Insane Instances Of Video Game Plot Armour

4. Nemesis Likes To Play With His Food - Resident Evil 3

There's no conceivable way that Jill Valentine should still be alive after Resident Evil 3, especially in the remake which really ratchets up the deathly interactions she has with the hulking stalker known as Nemesis.

Numerous times throughout the game, Nemesis picks her up and throws her around, even grabbing her face-first with his oversized catcher's mitt of a paw.

But rather than crush her skull with the faintest exertion of pressure, he lets her live to fight another day. Why? Why!?

It's perhaps gaming's all-time great example of a video game villain playing with their food because that's what the game needs them to do.

Even so, Nemmy sure shows Jill a lot of quarter compared to everyone else he annihilates in the game, even accepting that she's clearly his heart's fave.

This is without even getting into the fact that Jill ends up infected with the T-virus and yet lives long enough to get a vaccine, and then narrowly escapes Raccoon City getting nuked to oblivion by hitching a ride on the last chopper outta there.

We love you Jill, but you should've been deader than disco a whole 15 minutes into Resident Evil 3.
