Uncharted: 10 Spin-Offs Fans Would LOVE

The first father/daughter Uncharted, let's go.

Ever since debuting in 2007, Uncharted has established itself as one of the greatest gaming franchises PlayStation has to offer, with six incredible, almost cinematic outings to its name. Following the adventures of charismatic fortune hunter Nathan Drake, the series built up a following like few others.

By the time A Thief's End was released in 2016, fans were convinced this would be the final outing for Drake. After so many games, and an incredibly ominous title, it certainly wasn't out of the realms of possibility that the protagonist of the series would meet his maker.

While this wasn't exactly how things worked out, it does appear that Nathan Drake's time leading the franchise's games could be over. However, this certainly doesn't mean the end of the series in itself. With The Lost Legacy releasing in 2017, following Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross rather than Nate and Sully, the door has been opened for more spin-offs in the future.

There is no shortage of incredible characters at the disposal of Naughty Dog moving forward, whether they are partnerships that we haven't fully explored yet, or characters you wouldn't necessarily expect to see together. Regardless of which direction the franchise decides to take, they can't go wrong with any of these options.

10. Sam & Sully

This is certainly one of the more obvious choices, given how Uncharted 4 came to a close, but it would also be one of the best, simply filled with potential. Though Sully and Sam didn't see eye to eye throughout much of A Thief's End, they finish the story ready to partner off in search of more adventure.

With Nate and Elena going home, Sam joined Sully to help him make a "business deal" with some dangerous associates. With his Portuguese in working order, it's clear that the two were going to be up to no good.

Years later, Sully was still kicking around with the older Drake brother, this time in Cuba, apparently retired. However, by no means does that mean his adventuring days are over. He was too old for running around jungles in the search of the Cintamani Stone, but that didn't stop him from trying to find Ubar or Libertalia.

It would also make sense to keep the story in the Drake name, with a character every bit as smart, and hungry for historic legends as his little brother. In fact, Sam taught Nathan everything he knew, and since the younger brother has a few lost cities on the big brother, he has more than a little bit of catching up to do.
