The Walking Dead Game Season 2: 5 Reasons Why It's Still Great

How do follow near-perfection? Ask Telltale Games.

Warning: The Walking Dead Game spoilers from this point on... The quality of the absolutely stellar first season of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead hardly needs a mention. In the proclaimed award-winning "Game Of The Year", we follow Lee for a ten hour, episodic adventure that takes the characters from Hershel's farm to Savanna, Georgia with his new surrogate daughter, Clementine. But with Lee now dead and gone and 400 Days over, we now focus on a growing Clementine as she works her way through the remains of a world gone mad. The Walking Dead: Season 2 had so much to live up to, and for the most part, it did. The control layout for PC (which this review will be focusing on) could be considered a negative, or at the very least it's the least-positive, since it's now taking up a lot more of the screen and I haven't dared finding out if I can still use the keyboard or not in terms of dialogue choices for fear of answering with the wrong thing. This may just be me being stubborn, but I preferred the older layout of the dialogue choices. There's not even anything really wrong with the new layout, it's just that near-perfection amplifies the smaller errors. So instead of looking for negatives where there really aren't any, let's count down the top 5 reasons why The Walking Dead Season 2 still rocks your socks off. Click "next" to continue reading.
