This is a big year for the long-running WWE video game series. The dissolution of publishers THQ in January this year threw the future of the WWE gaming franchise into chaos until 2K Sports took over the publishing rights. And though 2K are the company behind such successful series as NBA and MLB, many questioned whether they could pick up where THQ left off with the upcoming brawling game. With next month's release date quickly approaching, however, we're pleased to say that from the screenshots and other materials seen so far, '2K14' looks just as good as any title that has come before it. By introducing a variety of new gamemodes such as a specially-themed Road To Wrestlemania campaign, while keeping the same core mechanics that worked so well in last year's outing, 2K are ensuring fans remain content during this period of upheaval. And though there are very few notable differences between this and WWE '13 (the main changes won't be felt until next year's expected debut on next gen consoles), there's still a great deal to look forward too.
