Over the course of his career, Christian has been featured in well over a dozen WWE video games. While he wasn't featured in SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 or 2008 due to his departure from WWE, he returned in the 2009 installment and been a part of the series ever since. In his second stint with the company, Christian has captured the ECW, Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Championships, so his involvement in the video games has been a guarantee every year. While he has been injured more often than not in recent years, he always returns with a purpose and shows no signs of rig rust whatsoever. However, it currently appears that Christian will not be a part of the WWE 2K15 roster. He was sidelined with an injury in August 2013, but returned to action after this year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He competed in the main event of Elimination Chamber for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and briefly feuded with Sheamus before suffering another injury. He has yet to resurface on WWE TV aside from being a part of pre-show panels for various events. Yes, Christian's lack of TV time may attribute to his absence from the game, but Rey Mysterio wrestled far less matches than Christian did in his latest run yet he will still be featured in WWE 2K15. One can argue that Mysterio is more marketable to the kids, but it's doubtful that an average member of the WWE Universe would want to play as Xavier Woods, Justin Gabriel or Darren Young over Christian. Christian's in-ring career very well might be over, but to leave him out of the latest video game is simply inexcusable. Besides, how else are fans going to give him one more match?
