WWE 2K16 saw Simba make the roster. WWE 2K17 should see Mufasa turn up, grey hair, Jordans, the lot.
Shane McMahon was included in WWE 2K16 as part of the featured Stone Cold Steve Austin mode. As the picture above shows, Shane's outing as a referee in the classic Austin vs. Rock No holds Barred match from Backlash: In Your House saw him onto the game's roster. However, after a return to the company as Commissioner of SmackDown Live and one-time in-ring competitor - and one hell of a one-time at that - we should be getting a fully grown Shane McMahon to play with this time round.
If that is the case, and with Backstage Brawls looking mighty fine in the leaked footage of the new game, it looks like there could be a few more high things for Shane to jump off compared to recent WWE games.
I can't wait to see what Shane's signature jig down the ramp looks like in the new game.
