WWE 2K17: 10 Most Anticipated Playable Superstars
5. American Alpha
The future of tag team wrestling have made it into WWE 2K17. Business, as Jim Ross used to say, is about to pick up. An honourable mention must also be made for The Revival here who will also be making their debut in a WWE game. I can't wait to recreate a couple of the unforgettable meetings between the two teams when the new game hits the shelves in the Autumn.
Given the debacle surrounding the Four Horsewomen in last year's game, it's a bit of a surprise to see Chad Gable and Jason Jordan make the cut for 2K17. Yes they have established their names in NXT over the last six months or so, but they only got moved to the main roster as part of the brand extension. That's a quick turnaround from the developers, isn't it? Nevertheless, it's a welcome surprise that will ramp up the tag team action to no end. It's great to see that the timing issues that saw The Four Horsewomen left out of the game have been eradicated.
We all know the explosive power that Jordan has but it's the intricate style of Gable that I'm most looking forward to seeing showcase in WWE's virtual universe. The former Olympian has one of the most unique arsenals on the current roster, so much so that it's hard to see how 2K could have completed the motion capture work for his holds and sequences without calling upon Gable himself to do the work for them.
Hopefully they did get Chad to come in and do it, just so it looks as good as it possibly could.
