XENOBLADE Confirmed For the US in 2012

The game is slated to be released for the United States and not other North American territories.

US Nintendo fans have been clamoring for Xenoblade Chronicles to make its way to the United States after it had been previously released in Japan and Europe. There was a protest called Operation Rainfall to try and get the game to America, and for a while it looked like it was to no avail. But finally Nintendo of America has announced the game will be heading to the United Sates sometime in 2012. Here is the exact quote from their Facebook page:
"It's confirmed! Next year, Wii players throughout North America can wield the Monado blade and join the epic battle between the Homs and the Mechons in Xenoblade Chronicles. Like this post if you're ready for an adventure on the surface of two frozen Titans!"
Something that does need to be noted is the game is slated to be released for the United States and not other North American territories. There is also a rumor that the game will be a Gamestop (biggest video game store in United States) exclusive, but that has yet to be confirmed. Xenoblade Chronicles has been getting rave reviews from all around so it is exciting that the game will finally be released in the United States; I just hope the game sells well to show JRPGs like Xenoblade are still worth producing. What do you think, will the game sell well or is it too niche of a title to produce big sales numbers?
