10 Horror Movie Plot Twists EVERYONE Guessed

Look, there are predictable horror movie twists... and then there's this. 

Alien: Covenant, the sequel to Prometheus, sees a group of human colonists investigate a strange broadcast on a mostly empty planet, where they encounter the sinister android David (Michael Fassbender), who has been stranded there for ten years. It soon becomes apparent that he's lured them there so that he can escape the planet and continue his twisted experiments, which have created an early version of the Xenomorph. 

So, the colonists have their own android Walter (also Fassbender), who looks identical to David. In one scene, David cuts his hair in order to make himself look like Walter and when the two androids have a fight, the outcome isn't shown and 'Walter' emerges from a building alone, claiming to have destroyed David. 

As such, when the film's Ripley-esque protagonist Daniels (Katherine Waterston) realizes that the android putting her to sleep is actually David it was not only the least-surprising thing imaginable, it was beyond-infuriating. Why on earth didn't they check the android? 

Every single part of this plot twist was spelled out in flashing neon lights long before the "reveal" was dropped, and this deserves to be remembered as not only one of horror's most predictable twists, but as one of the worst movie plot twists of them all.
