10 Horror Movie Twists We All Saw Coming

These shockers were anything but shocking.

There are few moments in horror that are as impactful as a mind-shattering twist. Even though Saw, The Sixth Sense, and Scream are amazing from beginning to end, it's the final rug-pull that leaves the biggest impression.

What made these bombshells so effective is the fact the audience felt like they should've worked it out before the credits rolled. Despite the fact there were more than enough clues, a lot of people failed to crack the case, leaving them gobsmacked when it was all said and done. This is important, since a last-minute revelation wouldn't be as impressive, if it was impossible to figure out.

However, some horror films offer so many hints, viewers can see the ending coming from a mile away. By lingering too much on a certain character or unsubtly foreshadowing a plot detail, the most unobservant person can come up with the answers, long before the big reveal.

The entries on this list made such little effort to hide the truth, you have to wonder if these curveballs were meant to be a secret in the first place.

10. Edwin Isn't There By Mistake - Predators

Predators may not match the 1987 classic, but it should be commended for trying something different. This time around, a group of killers are dropped onto the Predators' homeworld, where they are hunted by the mandibled warriors.

Since the group is composed of a sniper, a mercenary, an enforcer, a death row inmate, and a Yakuza member, it's clear these guys are the worst of the worst. As a result, the physician, Edwin, seems out of place since he doesn't seem to have a bad bone in his body.

That's why it's a shock when Edwin is later exposed as a serial killer.

At least, it's meant to be a shock. However, many viewers put two and two together pretty early on, especially after Edwin proved to have a suspicious knowledge of poisons and paralytic drugs.

Weirdly, there's a deleted scene that could've thrown everyone off the scent. In this scene, Royce directly asks why the Predators would group an innocent doctor with a bunch of murderers. Edwin cooks up a story that he was high on drugs while performing a surgical procedure, compelling him to butcher his patient.

If this conversation was included, Edwin wouldn't have been such a red flag.
