10 Most Anticipated Horror TV Shows Of 2024
9. Hazbin Hotel
If you're a fan of Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano on YouTube, you'll definitely have already heard of Hazbin Hotel.
The series first premiered on VivziePop's channel in 2019 after the creator raised enough funds via her Patreon backers. Shortly after, production company A24 got involved, setting the stage for the show to make the leap to actual TV.
Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell and proprietor of the titular establishment, is out to redeem demons to avoid them being slaughtered by angels in the Bad Place's annual purge. It turns out the best way to cure an evil spirit is through singing, dancing, and cutesy animation.
Hazbin Hotel has the better part of 100 million views on YouTube, so imagine its potential with the backing of such a big company behind it. Though not a horror in the traditional sense, there's still plenty here for fans of ghosts and ghouls to enjoy, although it's probably not going to be the best thing to get you in the mood on Hallowe'en.
The first season lands on Amazon Prime this January.
