25. Hello Goodbye
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBZ8ulc5NTg Writer: Lennon-McCartney (McCartney) Album: Single Featured on 'The Magical Mystery Tour' soundtrack, 'Hello Goodbye' is a peppy, piano and strings based track, with ghostly backing vocals and a good beat. The song is perhaps most famous for its outro of 'Hey-la, hey-a-lo-a', perhaps the second most famous Beatles outro after 'Hey Jude'. Despite the song's popularity, Lennon was reportedly not a fan of the song, and was unimpressed with the reception it received. Nevertheless, 'Hello Goodbye' is a note worthy Beatles, and a catchy one at that. 24. Get Back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMy_w5HsfdI Writer: Lennon-McCartney Album: 'Let It Be' Credited as 'The Beatles and Billy Preston', 'Get Back' is a catchy number, totally opposite to the title track from 'Let It Be'. Satirising Enoch Powell's 'Rivers of Blood' speech, before jamming out different lyrics and rhythms, the song also features Lennon opening and closing the song with whimsical quips . However, that underlying theme of the impending break up of the group strikes again, with Lennon claiming McCartney would look at Yoko Ono, every time he sang the line 'get back to where you once belonged.' Tensions aside, 'Get Back' is a playful tune that closes 'Let It Be' nicely. 23. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs7jxtPCqks Writer: George Harrison Album: 'The Beatles' (The White Album) Perhaps one of the best Harrison penned songs, 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is a melen collie, slow paced, passionate number from The White Album. Harrison brought his friend Eric Clapton in to play lead guitar, and this features prominently on the track, Clapton's howling guitar standing out notably. An alternative version was also produced, featuring Harrison on vocals and guitar, McCartney on organ and string arrangements by George Martin, which appeared on The Beatles 'Anthology 3', however it is The White Album version which stands out most.
