10 Awesome Board Games You Need To Play
2. Cards Against Humanity
One of the most mean-spirited games in history, Cards Against Humanity is great fun if you've got a jet-black sense of humour and a set of friends to match.
The game is played with a set of self-printed cards, all with a variety of crude, disgusting and downright hilarious sentiments written on them, most of which can't be repeated on this site for fear of being put on some kind of government blacklist. The cards are divided into sets of black (questions) and white (answers), the latter of which are divided amongst the players until each has a certain number - it varies depending on what rules you're using. The players take turns to pick a question from the black deck and pose it to their opponents, who each have to choose an appropriate answer from their hand and lay it down. The original player chooses the answer that either best fits the question or tickles them the most, and points are allocated accordingly.
There's no real end to the game (unless you're trying to reach a certain number of points), but by the time you've played for an hour or so you'll be so numbed to the trauma and ills of humanity that you won't even notice.
