10 Best Comedy Duos Working Today

10. Key And Peele

Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key are two African-American comedians who have had a show on Comedy Central for the past four years called, rather appropriately, Key and Peele. It deals with a wide variety of social issues, but it's most successful when it casts a satirical eye on elements of culture related to race. As biracial individuals, they have a unique perspective that allows them to hand out humorous judgment to both black and white culture. It's sort of in the style and spirit of The Chappelle Show, but it never pushes the envelope quite as much as Dave did, and the commentary isn't nearly as biting. Instead, it's two clever performers with fresh material taking well-intentioned jabs at pretty much anything they think deserves it. Also, it features an amazingly spot on impersonation of Barack Obama which must make the people over at Saturday Night Live green with envy, where Peele provides the even-tempered persona of the US president and Key serves as Luther, his anger translator.
