But that's also where a lot of the hilarity stems from in the yearly JRE Sober October competitions.
From the first iteration back in 2017, Rogan, Ari Shaffir, Bert Kreischer, and Tom Segura decided to take a vow of total abstinence for the month of October while competing in a series of challenges relating to see who can complete the most exercise over the course of the four-week period.
The competition has continued in the years since, with the commitment to abstaining to all mind-altering substances still underpinning the month of podcasts for the four guys.
