You're probably already asking: "Where would we get a morning star in a zombie apocalypse?! That's not realistic!" you shout, completely oblivious to the part of your sentence that says "zombie apocalypse". If we got bogged down in the minutiae of what's realistic, this list wouldn't exist. It's all absurd, so just sit back and relish in the absurdity.

A lot of people would gravitate towards baseball bats and crowbars. Bats are a little lame. You'd need to put some serious force into swinging a bat for it to have any effect on a zombie. A crowbar would be better, but there's really only one angle you can come at it from. But if you charge at a zombie with a morning star, one way or another, heads are getting smashed.

These medieval weapons are excellent bludgeoning tools based on their weight alone. They're made for crushing skulls and breaking shields. Add to that a bunch of gnarly spikes and you've got a certified zombie-crusher. A spiked flail would work just fine, too - the chain would add some extra range, though the recovery time on that may be a little detrimental.
