Brothers Jim and Jack Weiner, Chuck Rack, and Charlie Foltz were out on a fishing trip along the Allagash Waterway. After having little success in catching any fish during the day, the group of friends decided to try their hand at a spot of night fishing. While out on their canoe, they noticed a bright, glowing orb floating over the tree line nearby. Suddenly, it darted towards their canoe, engulfing them and the boat entirely. The next thing they knew, the four men were sat next to the campfire they'd lit earlier, which was now just ashes. Initially speaking very little about this experience with each other, they were all plagued by nightmares of strange beings aboard a space ship. They decided to undergo a series of hypnotherapy sessions, wherein they all recalled a consistent experience of being medically examined under the gaze of several oddly shaped humanoids.
