One of the more recent accounts on this list, Kirsan Llyumzhinov claims to have been abducted by aliens in 1997. His account wouldn't stand out much from any other supposed alien encounter, were it not for the fact that Llyumzhinov is a multi-millionaire businessman and respected politician (at one point the President of the Republic of Kalmykia.) Llyumzhinov claims to have been taken on board a long, transparent space craft by humanoid aliens in bright yellow space suits. He was then taken on an intergalactic tour of the galaxy by the aliens, who spoke a language Llyumzhinov could not understand. Despite this rather large handicap, Llyumzhinov claims that he was able to exchange ideas with his hosts, before being dropped off back on Earth.
