8. Katie Hopkins: Just Don't Talk!
If there was something controversial to be said on British TV in 2013, chances are that it would be coming from the mouth of Katie Hopkins. The former Apprentice contestant was given a second bite of the showbiz cherry this year with a string of shocking appearances on daytime show This Morning, where she spoke out on topics such as inappropriate names for children (claiming that she disliked giving children "geographical names", even though her own daughter is called India) and attachment parenting. But it was her comments about life expectancy in Scotland in the aftermath of the Clutha helicopter crash that really got under the skin of many; Hopkins retracted her comments, saying that she was referring to a healthcare report, but it seemed that the damage was done, as This Morning announced they would not be having her back on the show. Katie has taken to Twitter in order to vent her various complaints since though, which has of course attracted more controversy from many users of the social networking site. Many would hope that 2014 will see even less of her and her opinions - but with rumours brewing that she'll be part of Celebrity Big Brother, there's a good chance that, unfortunately for some, we haven't heard the last of her yet.
