Apparently stars don't like to pay their taxes, Cage being no exception. Despite being a ridiculously high paid actor, Cage avoided paying taxes on many of his purchases, including several of his homes. But he claims it's not his fault! His business manager didn't pay taxes and was the one who got him into the risky real estate in the first place. The business manager fired back that it was in fact his shopping sprees that got him into this mess. What did he buy you ask? 22 cars (9 Rolls Royces), jewellery, art and exotic items, including a dinosaur skull for $276,000 which he won in an auction bidding against Leo DiCaprio. Oh yes, that happened to me last week too. He owed so much in back-dated taxes and loans that he had to sell his prized possession; Action Comics 1, which has the first appearance of Superman. For which he got a cool $2.16 million.
