10 Celebrity Pairs You Won't Believe Went To School Together

5. David Duchovny & John Kennedy, Jr. In the X Files episode "Musings Of A Cigarette-Smoking Man', Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) claims the first word he uttered was "JFK". Imagine the irony: Mr. Duchovny and the sequel to JFK went to high school together. Yes, the truth is out there: David Duchovny and John F. Kennedy Junior not only attended the prestigious Collegiate School in Manhattan together in the late 1970's, they shared a room together during a field trip to Washington and became BFFs. Born in NYC, David was the son of the writer Avram Duchovny and John F. Kennedy Junior was the son of... Well, you know the rest. David went on to Princeton while John Jr. went on to Andover and Brown University, finally earning a law degree in 1989, and after a series of minor film roles, David went on to cult stardom as the star of The X-Files, while JFK Jr. dabbled in family projects and publishing, shepherding the ill-fated political magazine George. After obtaining his pilot's license in 1998, Kennedy was flying his wife Carolyn Bissette and her sister Lauren to a family wedding when the plane went down in the Atlantic Ocean off Martha's Vineyard due to pilot error. Sadly, all three died upon impact, renewing the old legend of "The Kennedy Curse". Duchovny, meanwhile, has since divorced wife Tea Leoni, and (rumour has it) has taken up with his X Files co star Gillian Anderson, provoking fanqirl squees around the globe.
