10 Classic Mobile Phones That Are Worth A Fortune

3. Apple IPhone (2G First Generation) ~$1,500 (£1,945)

One of the biggest tech-launches in history came when Steve Jobs announced the Apple iPhone. The new smartphone was a huge hit in sales long before anyone had an opportunity to even touch one and there's a good chance you are reading this on one of its successors.

Often, people trade in their iPhones when they upgrade to a new one, which is why an original 2G iPhone still brings in quite a lot of money online.

If you still have yours and need some quick cash, you can expect to snag anywhere between $100 (£77) and $1,500 (£1,945) in an auction.

If you have one still sealed in the original box, you might be able to get even more. Some auctions online have listings for unopened iPhones for $3,500 (£2,700) to as much as $20,000 £(15,430)!
