10 Crazy Bits Of Footage Accidentally Caught On Drone Camera

1. The Footage That Triggered A Mass Debate

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQE9ozut57Q This grainy footage of a drone being shot down by a Kentucky local may not look like much, but has triggered a national debate in America that goes right to the heart of the U.S. constitution on privacy, property and guns. The story goes that drone pilot David Boggs was flying his DJI Phantom 3 around the local area, when it was shot down with a shotgun by William Meredith. Meredith claims he shot the drone because it came right down into his backyard, while Boggs contends that it was flying way too high to intrude on anyone's privacy. Meredith was charged with criminal mischief and wanton endangerment, and his trial in September is likely to have big implications on ownership of airspace in the US, drones, and whether it's OK to shoot them down if they're hovering above your property. Meredith has been praised by some parts of the media as a crusader fighting for his privacy and property rights. To this end, he's been selling t-shirts on eBay with anti-drone messages, including one saying '#droneslayer' - which we admit is a catchy moniker.
