They're essentially human beings, but lacking the empathy and social norms to stop them sexually abusing frogs, torturing raccoons, or other amoral things that we humans would consider a bit inappropriate. The drone in this clip gets off fairly lightly. After the chimp gleefully knocks the it out of the sky with a stick, it gives the mini-copter a prod, a sniff, then quickly loses interest. But what's worrying about this footage is the adept way in which the chimp wielded a weapon. If apes continue evolving at this rate, then in a couple of hundred thousand years of evolution, humankind could have a rival.
