10 Exciting Things Coming To Walt Disney World
1. Star Wars Land
Possibly the biggest announcement of last year's D23 Expo was the impending arrival of the Star Wars themed land.
Rather than a galaxy far far away, Star Wars fans will now just need to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios to experience the world of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
The land itself will be 14 acres in size and has been promised by Disney to be a completely immersive environment.
Disney have confirmed that guests will be able to not just board the Millennium Falcon, but pilot it. In another attraction guests will find themselves in the middle of a battle with the First Order and the Resistance.
You will also be able to dine in the Cantina, made famous in Episode 4: A New Hope. The presence of a blue drink in the concept art has also sparked rumours that you will be able to order a Blue Milk.
There has been no news as to whether Star Wars Land is just a working title or if a whole new name is coming.
Disney have not yet released an opening date for this park, but have confirmed they will be breaking ground on the construction some time in 2016.
Lets hope there isn't too long of a wait until we can all experience the power of the Force at Walt Disney World.
