There are plenty of ghost stories at Walt Disney World, ranging from little boys in the Haunted Mansion to a former cast member in Tower of Terror. One of the ghost stories that most people are aware of is that of George in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Supposedly when Pirates of the Caribbean was being constructed a worker lost his life and he now haunts the ride. George is a friendly but mischievous spirit who plays tricks on those who dare to say anything bad about the attraction.

Disney have denied that George ever existed and that no one died during the construction of the ride. George is a true urban legend of the parks.
