Without a shadow of a doubt Valldemossa is one of the prettiest villages in Mallorca. It can be found in the hills of the Tramuntana range and is about 17km outside of Palma. This small and traditional town is quiet and has beautiful blonde stone buildings lining every lane. The village is home to a 13th century monastery which was previously a royal residence up until 1399. While you can navigate the town quite quickly if you wish, it is worth taking time to wander and admire its beauty.
