7. Fanta Was Invented For Nazis

This one seems a little like something many people know of at least have vaguely heard somewhere but I also feel like many people think this is just some internet urban legend. It isn’t. Calling Fanta a Nazi drink a bit strong and I really don’t want to be sued by Coca-Cola purely because I don’t have anything as it is and I’m scared of what they would do to me.

Factually speaking though, Fanta was invented to quench the German thirst for soft drinks during the period – quench! Thirst! Geddit? To put it simply, the German people were enthusiastic consumers of Coke (the drink, well, unless you’re Hitler) and as it became difficult to import Original Coca-Cola or its ingredients there grew a need to provide an alternative.

Coke were quick to assess the situation and consider what the Germans had, what they could provide and how they could make some sugar diabetes juice with limited sugar and came up with that refreshing orangey-yellow liquid we all know and love.
