Imagine the horror when surgeons found a gargantuan nine-pound hairball inside her stomach. Trichophagia is a compulsive hair-eating disorder, and Ayperi had obsessively eaten her own hair and hair from carpets for years, leading to what's known as "Rapunzel Syndrome", where the hairball develops a tail which leads into the intestine. Pretty name for an absolutely gross condition.
