1. He Shot John Lennon
Writer Stephen Lightfoot released a 24-page booklet with the title Stephen King Shot John Lennon. According to the booklet, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan arranged for King to undertake the killing and he suggests that King himself even wrote about the arrangement in his previous works, although this is just his own interpretation.
Mark David Chapman, the man who admitted to shooting John Lennon, accepted a guilty plea, but this evidence was not good enough for Lightfoot, who believes guilt pleas can not be trusted and he continued to thrust his bonkers booklet under the nose of everyone.
His theory continues to even believe that when King was run over by a van in 1999 this was actually the government behind the wheel attempting to murder the author so they could silence an earthshaking story.
