4. The Nazi's Were Obsessed With The Psychic Capabilities Of Dogs

The connection between animals and their owners is not what can even remotely be called an exact science; however there is evidence such a connection exists. Especially in dogs, who at times display a "sixth sense" by attempting to warn their masters to impending danger from natural disasters or howling for hours at the time of the owner's passing. Like I said, not an exact science, but "exact sciences" were never the Nazi's forte to begin with. Interested in all things bizarre and ultimately doomed to not work Nazi scientists began experimenting to learn the psychic capabilities of dogs as early as 1930 (about the same time they started doing a bunch of other completely crazy crap). Reports of dogs being able to tap Morse code to interact with people do exist, the most amazing breakthrough being a dog, who if asked, "Who is Adolf Hitler?" would respond by tapping, "Mein Fuhrer." It has been speculated the eventual goals of these experiments were to use dogs as self-managing canine guards in prison camps and bases, but these are just rumors. Just goes to show once again we should never underestimate a group of evil scientists with too much time on their hands.
