10 Mind-Blowing Pieces Of Evidence That Proves Lost City Of Atlantis Was Real
3. Greek Enemies
One of the details provided by Plato is the names of four Greek heroes who fought in this war against Atlantis. They were Cecrops, Erechtheus, Erichthonius, and Erysichthon.
Fascinatingly, these four names also appear in other Greek records. Three of these individuals were kings of Athens who ruled around about the year 1500 BCE or a little later, while the fourth one was the son of the first of these kings. And remember, this is exactly the time period when the Greeks went to war against the Minoans in real life.
So, the four Athenian heroes whom Plato claims were active in the war fought by the Greeks against Atlantis just so happen to have had the same names as four prominent Greek royals who lived when the Greeks historically went to war against the Minoans. I wonder what that could mean?
