Perhaps the least well-known magician on this list is reserved for the last entry - Cyril Takayama is best known in his native Japan, where he often performs in disguise to compensate for his growing popularity. Perhaps unsurprisingly it was a visit to Las Vegas, where he saw levitation and sawing in half acts, which first gave Cyril Takayama the idea of becoming a magician. Since his professional career took of, his signature performances range from new variations on the card behind the window trick and choosing someone's card after bungee jumping into a hotel pool and spearing it with a sword. His most bizarre and disturbing trick, however, is undoubtedly the one in which he appears to remove his head. After jiggling it from side to side with his hands, he slowly lowers his head until ir rests just above his waist.
