10 Must-See Pop Culture Inspired Car Adverts

The most awesome car ads featuring cars.

When it comes to adverts, we either love them or we hate them. More often than not, we utterly despise them. YouTube has a skip ad button for a reason, simply because nobody wants to have product information pushed in their face. There's a tradition of putting the kettle on during an ad break because nobody watches telly for the commercials. And when insurance companies start acknowledging that their opera singer is annoying, thus creating bizarre self deprecating spoofs, you know there must be something wrong. However, there are a selection of adverts which are well worth watching. And I don't mean the always-brilliant Fosters commercials. The kind of advert which you shouldn't skip is the pop culture-inspired Car Ad. The ad which sells a car by referencing a great movie, featuring the cast of a TV show, or fitting perfectly to a popular soundtrack. We've all seen them, some have made us chuckle and others have been genuinely memorable. It would be easy to start this list with the Star Wars inspired Volkswagen Ad which everyone knows, so instead I've collected some you may not have seen and others which are truly unmissable...
