6. Reykjavik
Icelands Reykjavik is very fun to experience during New Years Eve, and what makes it even more impressive is that there are not actually any official firework displays going on there. Everything you see has been organised by the people living there, including a superb display that includes around 500 tons of fireworks being set off! After midnight the clubs and bars stay open well into the morning.
