Being an alone person can be quite difficult when you get a boyfriend or girlfriend if that person doesn't understand your deep set need to spend time by yourself. You're not one of those people who can throw their whole self into a relationship time-wise, just because you need to have those chilled out afternoons and evenings by yourself to unwind or get stuff done. S.O's don't always get it though, and can be jealous of this need to not be with them. You explain time and again that it's not them at all - in fact, you might even have fallen properly in love with this person. Thing is, this is just who you are, and they need to accept that. You also need to be able to balance alone time and relationship time though - relationships are meant to be a compromise, right?
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
