10 Reasons Why Being A Pale Girl Rocks
5. You're The Reason Suncream Companies Will Never Go Bust
A little bit of charity never did anyone any harm. All the makers of suncream rely on you buying their products. They rely on the fact that you need a high SPF and LOTS of it. So really, without your custom, they may be the half the company they are today.
Ok, so it doesn't seem like a good thing to have to slather yourself in sunscreen just to pop to the shops on a hot sunny summer afternoon or to laugh (with a few tears in your eyes) in the face of any bottle marked less than SPF 50, but every time you grumble about having to laboriously schedule your reapplications of sun cream during the day, just think of every application as being your way of supporting the sun care industry.
After all if they didn't exist, you'd be burnt to a crisp by now. And isn't that a far worse thought indeed?
4. No Unfortunate Fake Tan Incidents
To stay pale and love your own skin means to never have to play the game of Fake Tan Roulette.
Everyone knows that there's a fine line between a subtle glow from a bottle, and looking like a fake tan factory exploded on you. One mistake, and game over.
But you in your natural state have nothing to fear, merely find guilty amusement from those that get it very very wrong.
And even if they get it right, there are many more potential problems ahead; the inevitable meeting with water, the anxiety of just not knowing if your bedsheets are going to be the same colour in the morning that they were when you rested your glowy head down the night before, and the risk of developing an addiction. Yes, fake tan addiction. It happens, and it's not pretty.
Being pale means being free and easy with any water based activities you may participate in, the choice of wearing the whitest of white clothes and bed linen, and definitely having no streaks. Unless they're of the nude kind. Because with your beautiful skin, why not?
