While falling in love with someone probably works best when your heart's been won over by their character and not their wallet, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be financially secure in a relationship. An NHS survey taken in 2014 stated that the number of doctors earning more than £100,000 a year has quadrupled in less than a decade, with more than 16,000 GP's being paid annual six-figure sums.
