Doctors have to deal with 12 hour shifts, napping on bunk beds, eating infrequent meals and working with less than full energy levels because the health care system demands so much of them. So the chances are, if you fall in love with a medical professional, they're probably not going to ask that much of you because they're used to thriving on very little. It also means you can take on the role of looking after them really well after a tough week on the ward; little things like cooking them dinner or having a glass of wine ready will seem like much bigger things to them after the stress of work. And who doesn't like treating their loved one to make them feel good?
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
