10 Reasons Why You Should Be Proud To Be A Hufflepuff

Realistically, if the world of Harry Potter did exist and you were accepted into Hogwarts, you probably wouldn't care which house you were sorted into because you'd be so happy to do your homework that you'd get up at 6am every day just to get it done. The novelty of being a witch or a wizard would never wear off and if you were sorted into Hufflepuff, you'd wear those colours with pride and gush about how much you love Professor Sprout, even when she's not listening. Unfortunately, there are some muggles out there who look down their noses at the Hufflepuffs of the world and claim that it is the worst house to be sorted into as all Hufflepuffs are naive and are basically a bit of a pushover. But so what if you're not a legend in the class-room, or have anything particular to sing about in terms of specific aptitude, you're a hard-worker, you're loyal and you're keen and that's what really counts at the end of the day. Regardless of what house you have been sorted into (you undoubtedly know because you tried it on the first day that Pottermore went live), let's all take a moment to appreciate the Hufflepuffs of the world who are more than the whipping boys and girls of Hogwarts.

10. The Location Of Your Common Room

Hufflepuffs have the best possible location for their common room in the whole school; who wouldn't want to be right next to the kitchens? Not only are you going to be toasty and warm all of the time but you're definitely going to make friends with all of the house-elves, and boy do they know how to provide you with a delightful midnight snack. Not even Fred and George managed to get as much free food from the kitchens as you're able to. After all, who goes to school for the learning experience?
