Whenever you meet someone new, you have to wait a supposed minimum of three days until it's socially acceptable to get in touch with them again. No one wants to appear as being needy and coming on too strong can put someone off so when you receive a text off someone after three days, then you know that they're playing the game. If he doesn't do this and he texts you as soon as you've got home to make sure that you're safe, then he is most definitely into you. He might not want to get in touch with you every minute of every day, but he'll get back to you straight away instead of waiting four hours for his reply of "how are you?"
