
Look, its the 21st century. Long gone are the days of courting, traditional exchanges and 'getting to know' one another. Instead two lines of largely irrelevant text, a couple of photos and a near enough location and youve found yourself a soulmate. Some people argue that Tinder is an abomination, a symptom of modern culture that harnesses a selfish need for instant gratification, and the worst thing to happen to dating since that other thing which made it mad easy to get laid. But hey, they are probably old, jealous or should up their selfie game. As the apps tagline suggests it's like real life, but better, and it's not far off; instead of the monotonous, time consuming processes of actually having to care about other peoples interests, preferences, or even meet them, Tinder cuts out the middle-man for a refreshing buzz, likened to an Instagram double-tap or a Facebook poke. Somebody loves you and thats all that matters. But with all things sweet and easy come the inevitable social drawbacks and faux pas of using them too much: here are a few of the signs that you are taking the app a little too seriously, and probably need to get out more.
