10 Spooky Phantom Vehicle Tales From Around The World

In March 2018, residents of Derbyshire looked up at the sky and saw a silent shape cutting through the air. One resident in particular, Mark O’Brien, stated that what they were seeing resembled a WWII plane flying very low over the houses in the area. O’Brien further said that it seemed like the plane was going to crash at some point but it eventually just flew off into a wooded area nearby and vanished.

At the same time, Lyndsey Taylor saw two ‘ghost’ planes in the Derbyshire Peak District. She claimed that while driving to Bancroft, her car radio started spewing static and the sky went dark. When she and her family looked up they saw a massive old airplane flying directly overhead. To their left a similar aircraft looked like it was toppling over before vanishing.

The RAF reportedly confirmed later on that three of their military aircraft were flown in the area at that time, but some were not convinced that this was true. Instead they believe the plane/s to be a ghostly re-enactment of a plane crash that happened more than seventy years ago.
