3. Scare Zones

Even though the scare zones truly come to life at night when the HHN team add in huge props and horrifying characters take over the streets, you can still enjoy these during the day too.

Some of the props that could be scary for younger guests are covered up during regular park hours, but a day time wander through the scare zones gives the perfect opportunity for you to see just how much detail goes into them.

It also gives you a chance to spot some of the boo holes that the actors can hide in, not that it helps once you are faced with the darkness and smoke of Halloween Horror Nights.

Our favourite day time Scare Zones were Graveyard: Deadly Unrest which is located in the Hollywood area of the park and Sweet Revenge in the New York section.

Sweet Revenge had some great photo opportunities thanks to the butcher's shop display and Graveyard: Deadly Unrest had so many large props to wander through and explore.

We also were surprised how much of the Scarecrow: The Reaping Scare Zone was on display. There were some rather creepy scarecrows that during the fog on a HHN night you might miss.

The Scare Zones aren't just for the evening, you can still enjoy them as a day guest.
