9. Forgot How to Turn
http://youtu.be/Mvar2x9fHN8 There are reasons that the DMV offers classes like the Motorcycle Safety Program to inexperienced and rusty drivers and riders. Nobody wants a motorcyclist to be out on the street if they aren't comfortable riding, right? Well, we'd hope so at least. But apparently there are a handful of self-proclaimed riders that are just so eager to get out on the road that they disregard some of the most important aspects of handling a motor vehicle - steering. As a licensed driver and motorcyclist, I understand the importance of motor vehicle safety. I take pride in the fact that I can comprehend the simplest of safety rules, and it slightly disturbs me when seemingly intelligent people cannot recollect what appear to be obvious procedures. Take this guy, for example. He seems to have the general concepts of balance and throttle understood, but he seems to lack the ability to wrap his head around the idea behind breaking - or turning.
